Charles Edward "Chuck" Sherwood, 48, died Dec. 28, 1999, at home in Dublin, GA.

The Des Moines, Iowa, native was a 1969 graduate of Glynn Academy and attended Brunswick Junior College. He retired from the Navy as a disabled veteran. He was formerly of Brunswick.

He owned and operated Sherwood Fences with his father for several years before moving to Dublin nine years ago to work in the Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Charles is survived by his mother, Betty J. Sherwood of Cumming; two sisters, Judie Fogle of Cumming and Jean Bonenberger of Brandon, S.D.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
