Bill Kibler (1975)

The time Bob lived and attended school at Camp Zama were some of the best years of his life, and I know many of us share the same feeling.  At Zama High he was on the Wrestling team and Track&Field team.  After leaving Japan in 1971, he completed some college before deciding to join the Army.  He served in assignments in Panama and Colorado during his enlistment.  While in Panama, Bob married and later had a daughter - Sonja.  After a short marriage, he raised his daughter who now lives in Caliifornia.  Bob had lived most of his life in California but retired to Florida about 8 years ago.  He enjoyed computers, fishing, and boating.  Bob had battled Leukemia for 1.5 years and was receiving more aggressive chemotherapy when he developed fatal complications during his hospitalization.  We will all miss him very much.
