Joseph Meneghetti - Class Of 1989

Joseph Leo Meneghetti was born on July 10, 1971 and passed away surrounded by family and friends on October 31, 2016. He was 45 years old.

Joe spent most of his childhood in Japan. He graduated from Zama High School in Japan in 1989. After high school, Joe moved to the Sacramento area, finally settling in Folsom. Joe worked in the car industry for many years, most recently at Lasher Elk Grove Dodge.

Joe was a Dallas Cowboys fan and was an ardent Kings fan. He was a season ticket holder for years and loved collecting all things Kings. Joe was a loving father to his two children, Jamie and Jayden. Joe thoroughly enjoyed watching Jayden play basketball and football. He was definitely his biggest and most vocal fan. Joe was so very proud of his daughter, Jamie, and all her accomplishments. He was very excited for her as she started on her journey to college and adulthood. Joe was a loving son and brother. Joe was one of the nicest people you would ever meet and was an instant friend to everyone he met. He was passionate about life and believed in living life to the fullest.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Leo. He is survived by his mother, Kayoko; wife, Nina; daughter, Jamie; son, Jayden; brothers, John and Chris; sister, Anna; nieces, Danielle, Aurora, Leia; nephew, Evan. Memorial services were held on Friday, November 11th at Lambert's Funeral Home in Roseville, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations were made in Joe's name to the Fisher House Foundation.
