Bobby Pruitt (c/o '88) wrote this about his brother on Feb. 17, 2012.

"RIP Ken Pruitt: Thank you, everyone, for the kind words, wonderful memories, thoughts and prayers.  We will miss him. For those who have asked, 'Why?' and 'How?' I offer that for Ken, life was a struggle. He never found true peace."

Family and friends celebrated Ken's life on March 10, 2012, at 2pm, in a private ceremony in Apollo Beach, FL.

Bobby also wrote, "For those people who expressed a desire to send flowers and such, thank you very much but we would prefer if you could instead donate to one of two charities in Ken's name. Your contributions to these causes in his name will help give meaning to his life and help him find his true peace. Please donate to the American Diabetes Association or the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program."
