2014 Reunion Survey

We hope that everyone had a great time in Las Vegas for the reunion and got home safely afterwards.  Speaking on behalf of the committee, there might have been a couple of stumbles but over all, we felt we accomplished what we set out to do... to reconnect old friends.

I'd like to thank our core Committee members Georgine (Luketic) Lindseth ('79), Barbara (Luketic) Soucia, Rose (Kitrinos) Mori ('76), Larry Moss ('76), and Roberta Stott ('88) for putting in endless hours to bring this event to fruition.  It was nearly a year and a half of calls, RFPs, conferences, and emails to pull this off.  Thanks to this team for their dedication.

For registration, everything went smoothly due to our Registration Committee members headed by Roberta Stott ('88) and, without our volunteers, none of this would have been possible.  Many thanks to  Ann (Arakaki) Kawasaki ('80), Debbie (Bell) Noguchi ('73), Michelle Dethlefsen ('92), Jeanne (Duke) Fredericks ('65), Renee (Duplessis) Morrison ('79), Reiko (Kawaguchi) Pitts ('67), Barbara MacConnell ('72), Linda (Maki) Morinaga ('77), Levon Martin ('61), Steve Miller ('79), Suzanne Miyasaki ('79), Linda (Perry) O'Connor ('77), Robert Perry ('75), Yoko June (Pugh) Savas ('71), Pat (Ratliff) McFadden ('71), Bill Roy ('75), Debbie (Shea) Welch ('70), Lance Stanley ('78), Tom Stanley ('80), Laura Whatley ('82), and Charlie Wynkoop ('76).  Without them, all this simply would not have happened.

On Raffles, our thanks again to Pat (Ratliff) McFadden ('71) and Yoko June (Pugh) Savas ('71) for organizing our raffle and to Pat for her generous donation of the handmade quilt.  This is one of our big fundraisers and we truly appreciate their help as well as your participation during our Registration as well as during Saturday evening.  I'd also like to thank all of the alumni members who donated great raffle prizes this year.

Special thanks to Debbie (Shea) Welch ('70) for the many items she made such as the Trojan black and white wristbands as well as other items she donated to our raffle, and to George Kitrinos ('77) for the beautiful logo (again!!) designed especially for this reunion.

Finally, I want to thank Linda (Maki) Morinaga ('77) for the tremendous and fun map that showed us where we all were from.  This is really one of my favorites at every reunion.

As you can see, I tried to keep this short but it takes a large number of dedicated individuals to put an event like this on.  With your help in assisting us with this survey, we hope to be able to do better for future reunions.

Aloha to all,

George Mosier - '71
ZAA President
