The Zama Alumni Association is pleased to announce the registration for the
2019 All-Class Reunion in Nashville!

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

The room rates at the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University are $169 plus tax per night Thurs-Sat. We have a below market room rate and once our room bloc is gone, the rates may be higher so book early. The hotel is discounting parking by $5 so overnight parking will be $27 a night plus tax.

Our group is also getting free wifi in sleeping rooms and access to a complimentary shuttle within a 2-mile radius upon availability.

** Our group will have a reserved area for Sunday breakfast. The additional fee must be collected by the ZAA and paid in advance. Meal coupons will be distributed at check-in for those who purchase the breakfast on the ZAA web site.  

Registration/Check-in at the reunion will be held on Thursday, July 18th (3:00pm - 5:00pm), Friday, July 19th (2:00pm - 4:00pm) in the ZAA hospitality office (Acorn A Ballroom). We will also have registration packets for those who have not checked in earlier at the Friday reception and Saturday morning general membership meeting. And as with previous reunions, our hospitality office may be open at other times and full of folks catching up, but we are just specifically scheduling volunteer staff at the times indicated.

The Zama Alumni Association Board will hold a general membership meeting on Saturday, July 20th (9:00am - 10:00am). The purpose of this meeting is for the board members to provide an update to members on association activities.

Saturday Showboat Lunch Cruise

Our optional Saturday activity is the the General Jackson showboat cruise. The General Jackson has a midday show and buffet lunch.  The General Jackson cruise boards at 11 am and docks by 2:45 pm. There is a lunch buffet and a show while it is cruising down the Tennessee River. In order to ensure everyone arrives on time, we plan to charter buses to transport those who want to go on the cruise to and from the General Jackson’s dock. The total per person cost will be $70 per person (all taxes and fees inclusive) and includes bus transportation to/from hotel plus the cruise, buffet lunch and the show. The charge for children 4-11 is $45.00 and also includes round trip bus transport. The riverboat has no charge for children under 4, but there will be a $12.50 fee if they are big enough to require an individual seat on the bus. Every individual (including babies) must have a ticket on the boat so they have an accurate headcount, so be sure to register your kids in the appropriate age category even if they are small enough to be counted as a bus lap child and ride the bus and boat free. The showboat will issue tickets marked no charge for children under 4, but we must reserve those in advance as part of our group purchase. The showboat cruise is scheduled on Sat., July 20, 2019 and buses will leave from the back of the hotel at 10:30 am. We need to give a firm number as early as possible because this cruise does fill up in the summer months and we need to order our buses in advance, so please register for this early if you plan to attend.

T-shirts

The 2019 Nashville Reunion commemorative t-shirt is another great design by George Kitrinos (Class of '77).  Cost for t-shirts will be $20. There will only be a limited number of t-shirts for purchase at the reunion so pre-ordering your shirt prior to May 15th is recommended. We will also have non-clothing reunion collectible options available on our CafePress Shop shortly. Please note that all CafePress Shop items must be shipped to your address.

There is a $5 shipping charge for t-shirts if you will not be attending the reunion and want one shipped to your U.S.  address.  Reunion t-shirts will be sent to you by USPS after the reunion. We can only ship to U.S. addresses.

Raffle

The ZAA will be holding a raffle during the Saturday Night Dinner/Dance.  Raffle tickets will be $1 each.  Buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win a free room night at the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University or win your reunion registration fee!  There will also be other great items donated by alumni!

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE REUNION AND ORDER YOUR T-SHIRT

All registration information is being collected online this year. You can pay through paypal via credit without having a Paypal account.

Online Form and Online Payment:

Step 1: Sign in to the ZAA web site and click on the 2019 NASHVILLE REUNION link.

Step 2: Select the event items at the top of the event registration you wish to purchase.

Step 3: Hit continue and you will be able to make choices to pay dues (or a non-member fee) and purchase t-shirts.

Step 4: When you have completed your selections, continue to PAYMENT OPTIONS to pay for the items in your shopping cart. Select your payment type, enter your credit card information and submit your payment. You will receive email confirmation which will include the details of your order.  The payment amount you make will be sent to the bank account for the Zama Alumni Association.

ZAA Membership Dues

Your Zama Alumni Association Board of Directors encourages all alumni to become members of the ZAA. Your membership fee is used to support the activities of the ZAA which include but is not limited to providing the ZAA website, maintaining the legal status of the association, and for organizing the reunions.  You may pay your membership dues in advance by selecting future years (paying in advance is *optional* and has been provided per alumni request).

Non-Member Fee

A non-member fee of $50 will be charged for alumni who attend the reunion but who are not or do not want to be ZAA members. Guests of alumni are not required to pay membership dues or non-member fees--this includes the non-member family members you may be bringing to the reunion. Simply register them at the Member/Family rate when checking out.

Late Fees

A late fee of $25 may be required if you register after the registration deadline of June 15th.  Please contact us if you are registering late.

Cancellation and Refunds

If you cancel your paid registration, your fees will be refunded in full prior unless your cancellation results in the Zama Alumni Association becoming responsible per a contractual agreement.  Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration. Typically we are contractually obligated for all activities 30 days in advance of the event, so refunds for cancellations inside of that timeframe will be unlikely.

Cancellations of hotel reservations are between alumni and the hotel, and are made according to their policy.

Data Privacy
Personal data that you submit during the registration process is used for administrative purposes only.  The data in the ZAA web site is private and is never sold or distributed to third parties outside of the association for any reason.  The Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University will provide information to the Zama Alumni Association for purposes of tracking reservations and ensuring that the guaranteed room block commitment is met according to the contractual agreement.

Indemnification

By registering, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Zama Alumni Association, (ZAA) and their, subsidiaries and other affiliates, and its and their directors, officers, employees, information providers, licensors, licensees, consultants, contractors and other applicable third parties from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, debt or liability, including reasonable attorneys fees, including without limitation attorneys fees and costs incurred by the Indemnified Parties arising out of, related to, or which may arise from: (i) your use of the Service; (ii) any breach or non-compliance by you of any term of this Terms of Service or any of ZAA's policies; (iii) any dispute or litigation caused by your actions or omissions; or (iv) your negligence or violation or alleged violation of any law or rights of a third party.
