My best friend and later (for a time) husband, funny, incredibly intelligent, independent, inventive--Hardy Tichenor brought untold blessings into my life. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and smile. Thank you, Hardy.
I learned of Hardy's passing from Pat Taylor. I will always remember his great intelligence, unique individualism, dry wit, and fierce questioning of authority. My closest encounter with Hardy was on the Zama debate team in the 69-70 season-- coached by Mr.Fred Nimis. What a time we had. Zama took first place and the debate topic was about the U.S. unilateral intervention into Viet Nam-- a subject tailor made for the likes of Hardy Tichenor. The debate competition did not stand a chance. Well done, Hardy. Rest in peace. Jack Dunn
