I remember Jimmy quite well. He was a good friend of my older brother Romy ('68) at Zama and years afterwards. I used to run into him at the Sagami-Ono train station during our commute to Sophia University in Tokyo. Got to know him very well in the short time we met. He will be missed.
I spent just about every day of my sophomore year with Jimmy. We had a mutual love.......golf. My love of the game continues decades later with me still playing the game and spending 20 years as a golf course superintendent. Jimmy, like Joey, you left too early. We had years more to go to spend time together.
