Harry Haney McWilliams II, 63, was born on December 23, 1943 to Harry and Margaret McWilliams in Fort Knox, Kentucky and died on September 27, 2007 of cancer at his daughter's home in Indianapolis, IN.
In 1961, he graduated from Zama American High School in Japan, where he was known as "Butch." Harry served in the U.S. Army for 26 years and retired as a lieutenant colonel. Some of his assignments included the Dominican Republic, Korea, Laos, Vietnam, Germany and several stateside posts. He was a life member of several veteran groups and Army active duty organizations. He was later employed by Military Professional Resources, Inc. in Radcliff, KY.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beck Rigby. Survivors include his daughter, Holly Forman, and two sons, Harry H. McWilliams III and Christopher S. Follas. He was interred at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
