Tom Moran passed away on October 31, 2009. He was 54 years of age.
Tom was born on February 5, 1955 in Tokyo, Japan. He went to school at Sagamihara from 1962 and continued through Zama High School until 1972.

He was a wonderful person. Anyone that knew him found him to be very kind and always happy. No matter how sick Tom was, he always wanted to know how others were doing. He was a great brother and a wonderful friend.

Laura Bogen (1974)
I just realized Tommy's birthday was the day before mine. One day on the bus going from Zama to Sagamihara, he got off at Sobudai-mae to help someone, my memory is so bad these days, but is seems like it was to break up a fight. I just remember how brave and caring I thought he was at the time. I also remember that when I first got to Zama in the middle of 6th grade, I went to a dance and he was the first person to ask me to dance. He was a really nice person, I hope his life was full and comfortable. Laura
