Virginia Skoglund (Ober) passed away on August 21, 1998 after battling cancer.  She was 40 years of age and a resident of Watchung, NJ.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Douglas A. Ober, and children: Douglas C. Ober and Claire E. Ober.

Note from her sister, Cynthia ('77):  Virginia attended Sagamihara ES, Zama MS and HS (as a freshman in 1971-72), then moved to Massachusetts where she completed high school. She studied at Brandeis University for one year (where she met her future husband) and transferred to the College of William and Mary in Virginia.

She graduated with a double major in Government and Economics and then received her law degree from the University of Maryland and practiced law in New Jersey.
