In Memory

Glen Wren

The ZAA received word that Mr. Wren passed away on January 17th.  Mr. Wren's wife, Ada, wrote, "This is Ada Wren, using Glen's e-mail account to tell everyone in his contact list that Glen died last night in a hospital in Wimberley.  A celebration of his life is preliminarily planned for Friday afternoon in Wimberley. Exact time and place not yet determined."

This message from one of our former faculty members, Mr. Tom Hoff, was included in the email.

I would like others to know about the unfortunate passing of a wonderful ZAHS band director, teacher, and faculty spokesperson. Glen was firm and fair with students and challenged them to perform to the best of their ability. With colleagues, he was consistently friendly and supportive.

Glen retired a few years ago to Texas and spent his retirement with his wife, Ada. She sent **the following message after he passed away.

Thank you for letting others know.
Tom Hoff (ZAHS School Psychologist 1986-2000)
