Paul was born on September 1, 1955.  He passed away at the age of 17 when a drunk driver hit him.  He was in Georgia at the time.

Paul is survived by his mother, Irene Tesch; sisters, Kathy, Debi, Sheree, Tami and Dana; brothers, Kevin and Karl (Derek).

"Paul was my brother and friend.  He had just finished basic training in Alabama and to celebrate, he and some buddies were diving off a bridge into a river.  It was a Sunday (during the afternoon) and a drunk driver came across the bridge in a truck and caught him before he could jump to the water below.  He was a very happy, fun guy with lots of friends in Augusta, Ga.  All the family and friends and a large percentage of our high school came to the memorial service. And my Dad, who is the strongest man I've ever known, cried.  It was the first time I had ever seen or heard of him crying.  It's been so many years now, that I can't remember the exact date.  I think it was in 1973 or 74.  He is still missed greatly." - Written by Paul's sister, Debi Tesch Sidbury (c/o '72)
