Christine Webb Dees died in her sleep at home in Burnet Tx. in August of 2011. She was 74 and in okay health for someone who had smoked all of her adult life. After she left Japan in 1975 she enrolled at the University of Texas Law School and graduated in 1978. She spent a lot of her career as an advocate for childrens welfare in broken homes.Christine also learned to sign for the deaf members of her church so they would be able to worship with their friends and family.
