The purpose of the ZAA website is to provide a centralized location for ZAA information including:

Reunion information
Member information
Other ZAA information

Thanks, John. I always prefer staying on the Strip when going to Vegas. I'm not a big-time gambler, so Vegas reunion will give me more time to spend with friends and doing a lot more "catching up" than I was able to do in San Francisco because Carol and I were trasping all over the bay area and coast. We're hoping to spend more time with everyone we didn't get a chance to meet up with at the SF Reunion. Viva Las Vegas!!

I have to agree with you guys and I am disappointed in having another reunion in my backyard again. If this is the case, then I will suggest to the committee a couple of hotels on the Strip this time instead of the Off-the-Strip hotels like we had in the past. I've already made calls to my friends in the business since now is the time to book an event a year out. I'll try to be proactive for this reunion and suggest to the committee various events that are entertaining for everyone. Hopefully, Seattle will be next on deck for 2016 !

I have to agree with Joe. Las Vegas should not have even been on the list. We have been there twice and I have no desire to go back. It's plain miserable in the summer and unless you are a big gambler or you want to spend a huge amount going to shows there is not much to do. The results for 2 different locations in Las Vegas SHOULD NOT have been combined to 1 total. I would like to hear the justification for combining the 2. There were 7 locales on the list and Seattle had the most votes of any of them. If they were going to be combined we should have been told in advance. That is just not right. It looks like this will be the end of a 20 year run of attending Zama reunions for me and likely for others.

What a load of crap! Seattle won that survey. They had vegas down twice (on strip/of strip) and then combined it at the end. This is BS. Politics at the Zama Alumni Association is alive and well.

I received a facebook entry from Tom Gibson, Larry Gibson's son, stating that Larry, class of 1964 passed away April 10. It was sudden and quite unexpected. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they go through this very sad time.

The man say,s "Alabama." The doctor tells him to go home, put a lit cherry bomb in an empty soda can, hold it in his hand, and count to 10. The husband isn't so sure of this, so he goes to another doctor, this time in California.

When that doctor finds out that the husband is from Alabama, he tells him the exact same thing that the doctor in Ohio told him. The husband figures that the doctors must be right.

We love Seattle. Our youngest son & fammily live in Seattle and our oldest son & family live in Portland. Since we live in North Carolina we usually make a long visit when we go to see them. Having the reunion there in July would be a big bonus. There are a number of very good hotels in downtown Seattle along with a lot of things to do - especially if you have not been there before. So - I am hoping for Seattle!!

I was browsing through my Yoyogi Elementary school yearbook and was happy to see that a few of us who ended up at ZAHS also attended Yoyogi. I have found a first grade Barry Doyle, Paul Brooks, Walt Foery, and Milton Isa. Marla Davis was a second grader as well as Frieda Takamura. In third grade there was Barbara Doyle and in fourth grade, Ray Foery. This was school year 1955. Are there any more?

I'm in for Seattle. Literally :). As for Roy opening a restaurant, he had one here some years ago but closed it for several reasons. Again, I wasn't able to locate the voting feature on this web site in time, but did want to cast mine for Seattle.

I agree with the others on this one. Although Las Vegas is great for entertainment, summer can be sweltering. As I am from the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix metro area) I would not find Las Vegas in the summertime to be an ideal getaway. We want some nice, cooler weather, which Washington would provide, and it's so nice in the summer in the Pacific Northwest. Plus there hasn't been a reunion here yet. My vote was for Seattle.
