On September 12, 2004, Debbie passed away due to a heart attack.  She was 34 and residing in Columbus, OH at the time.

Debbie is survived by her four children: Daryl Bowens, Orvon Bowens, Donta Bowens and Sebastian Thornton; her mother: Peggy Dotson; and her sister: Tyvika Bowens (c/o '93).
