Survived By: His wife, Lucinda Cochran Sanders; a son, Lee W. Sanders Jr. of Fredericksburg; and a niece, Donna Goff Rollins of Elgin.

Lee Wayne Sanders, 60, of Fredericksburg died Friday, May 4, 2007, at Mary Washington Hospital.  He was a native of Elgin, S.C., and the president and chief operating officer of Fredericksburg Distributing Co.  Mr. Sanders was a past president of the Rappahannock Area YMCA and a former board member of Fredericksburg Big Brothers Big Sisters.  A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, in Union Baptist Church cemetery in Elgin. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
